Anantha was on a roll and went on to score a hat-trick with Rohan and Mukesh chipping a piece each, Thanzeel manage to pull one back for the Giants but it just wasn't enough.

We felt that we had a lot of balance in the old team and tried to retained as many as possible and well Life is constantly changing so we could not hold on to many of the players ...
Since each team was allowed to retain 2 players, The owner (venkatesh kalai) decided to retain Goal keeper Aswath and Solomon
