Why is governance important?

Imagine if Lord Ram was told we will build the bridge after we get to Lanka.

That’s absurd, right?!

Watch this video to get to know what our Indian history can teach us about fundraising.

This is a snippet from my keynote address at the Hindu Economic Forum.

Will they make it?

That was the question on my mind just two days before my book launch.

Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar had graciously agreed to launch my book “Who Leads Who” on Dussehra day at the Art of Living Ashram in Bengaluru.

Dream moment, right?

But the manuscript wasn’t ready.

I submitted the completed manuscript to Notion Press just two days before I was to leave for Bengaluru for the launch.

The clock was ticking.

And then came the moment.

I boarded the Vande Bharat to Bengaluru, and there was Akash from Notion Press, waiting to deliver the freshly printed book inside the train……

……Right on time.

What could have been a fiasco launch became a thrilling experience.

Huge shout-out to Akash and the team for the timely delivery.

That’s what putting the customer first looks like!

Creating an experience the customer will remember.

It also reinforced that high performance is less about perfect conditions, more about ownership and focus.

So, Notion Press, can you do it yet again?

Because exceptional customer service isn’t just about delivering what was promised.

It’s about creating a moment the customer remembers.

What’s an exceptional customer experience you’ve had?

At the India-Pakistan Attari-Wagah border ceremony, I saw the BSF embody leadership in its purest form: courage, purpose and service before self.

The precision and unwavering commitment behind the ceremony were more than a parade.

They reminded me that while millions sleep peacefully, others stand watch so our Tricolour can fly with pride.

This Independence Day, perhaps the greatest tribute we can offer is to lead with courage, purpose and integrity in our own roles.

Because freedom comes with responsibility.

Freedom isn’t just a word. It’s a feeling, one that still gives me goosebumps.

What does freedom inspire you to do differently?

Happy Independence Day. Jai Hind!

What’s driving you?

What’s the reason that pulls you forward when motivation is gone?

That’s your “why.”

Most of us race toward success without ever asking the question, “Why am I doing this?”

For some, it’s family.

For others, it’s impact, legacy, proving something to themselves.

When your why is clear, decisions get easier, energy gets focused, and high performance stops being a grind.

In this clip from a keynote I delivered on high performance, I invite you to pause and ask yourself,

‘What’s the why that gets you out of bed every morning?‘

Share your why in the comments or tag someone whose purpose inspires you.

Have you experienced two departments inside the same company speaking different languages?

That’s the gap between teams, and that can feel like a cold war.

What new perspective will appear if you ask, “What would this look like if I stepped into their shoes?”

Watch this video to learn about a creative way to solve interdepartmental conflicts.

Eleven years apart.

I stood once again by the fountain in Geneva, the Jet d’Eau.

In the first, I was enamoured and marvelling at Switzerland’s pristine charm.

In the second, I felt a quiet nostalgia, as if some of that magic had dulled over time.

The magical charm of Switzerland seemed to have been lost over time.

And it made me reflect.

Just as a place can lose its sparkle, so can we, if we are not intentional.

Are we investing in our growth, honing our skills, and celebrating our progress?

Or are we quietly letting burnout, self-doubt, or comparison depreciate our worth?

As leaders, our ability to thrive depends on how well we nourish ourselves.

Let’s not wait until we feel that sparkle fading.

It is important to pause, reflect, and ask-

Am I growing, appreciating, and leading with purpose?

How do you keep your spark alive as a leader?

What if a tiny change could result in a big impact?

In a keynote I delivered at a corporate annual meeting, I shared just that.

A tiny tweak, inspired by the Andon Cord concept from Toyota, that empowers every employee to flag issues and spark innovation.

When we give ourselves and others permission to act on small signals, the ripple effect is huge.

Watch this 2-minute clip from the talk, and ask yourself-

What tiny change could I make today for a big impact tomorrow?

I’d love to hear your thoughts.
