TNAA Coaches Seminar 2026 – Closing Ceremony

The Tamil Nadu Athletic Association successfully concluded the Coaches Seminar 2026 held from 10th to 12th April in Chennai.

TNAA, under the guidance of Tmt. C. Latha, Chairman – P&E Committee, firmly believes that empowering coaches is the key to elevating athlete performance. Enhancing coaching knowledge leads to transforming athletic outcomes.

Continuing its commitment, TNAA has consistently organized impactful seminars—both online and offline—benefiting coaches and athletes alike. This year’s seminar emphasized a scientific approach to technical training, making it highly insightful and practical.

💥💥💥 The Tamil Nadu Athletic Association (TNAA) extended a warm welcome to Ms. Edwina Jason, winner of silver medals in the 400m and Medley Relay events at the 3rd Youth Asian Games held in Bahrain, 2025, on her arrival at Chennai Airport. 💥💥💥

The felicitation was held in the presence of Tmt. Latha, Secretary, TNAA; Mr. Mohan Babu, Joint Secretary, TNAA; Mr. T.G.R. Babu, President, CDAA; along with TNAA officials and fellow athletes who joined to celebrate her outstanding achievement.

Ms. Edwina Jason also had the honour of meeting the Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister and Minister for Youth Welfare and Sports, Thiru. Udhayanidhi Stalin, who congratulated her on her remarkable achievement and lauded her for bringing pride to the state and the nation.

Tamilnadu athletes displayed remarkable talent, dedication, and sportsmanship, achieving outstanding results at the 4th South Asian Senior Athletic Championships organized by Athletic Federation of India (AFI) under aggies of South Asian Athletic Federation (SAAF) from 23rd to 26th October 2025 at Ranchi that brought immense pride to both the State and the Nation.

The medal winners had the honour of meeting the Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister and Minister for Youth Welfare and Sports, THIRU. UDHAYANIDHI STALIN, in the presence of Thiru. ATULYA MISHRA, IAS, Additional Chief Secretary to the Government of Tamil Nadu; THIRU. MEGHANATHA REDDY, IAS, CEO & Member Secretary, SDAT; and TMT. C. LATHA, General Secretary, TNAA.

Olimba Steffi – 4x400m Mixed Relay (Gold), 400m (Silver), 4x400m Relay (Gold), 400m Hurdles (Bronze)
