Place : NM READY A Ground (10:30am)

Toss : Team A win the toss and choose to bat First
Result : Team B won the match by 6 wickets
MOM : Anantha (5-0-30-5 with ball, 101*(31 balls 13*6 & 4*4))

Summay:

Due to Tournament match not available for this week, So we have planned to play A & B match and few of them not available. But we have managed to play with two balanced team.
Team A Opened with Most Experience Batsman Master Renjith & new comer Deepan , It has been fantastic start given by both of them they have utilized power play well and scored 62/0 for first 7 overs. Then anantha entered into bowling department and taking full control in his tempting delivery to dismiss Deepan, Renjith (48 24b 8*4 , 2*6),Akash & Gnanam in quick time. Parthiban also joined party and removed Pandi. Team A lost 89/5 for 11.5ovr, then venkat and new comer victor joined together played handy knock by venkat and little sensible cameo from victor,vasanth and sachin to end the innings with 23over total of 204/9 as huge total on the board. Anatha took 5wkts and parthiban shared with 3wkt.
Team B started well with Bharath and Prem in the bowling unit of Team A nothing on their bucket until sachin entry once He came and given break for the team taking of Bharath (26) and Ajay wickets. Ramesh and Prem added 45 runs with the help of Ramesh cameo 28(13balls) , then here is the man entered into crease and turned into the match for his side Captain Anatha blustering start of hat trick six in Gnanam over and till the end never stopped to be frank team can’t stop him like the way he was going and carried his bat with magnificent Century for Just 31 balls with 13 maximum and 4 boundaries.💚
Gnanam the worst bowler for his team 5-0-84-0.😭
Team B completed 209/4 17.2 overs and lift the winning trophy.

Practice Match (15-12-2019)
CM vs JAQUARS
Place : Sumangali Ground Medavakkam
Toss : JAQUARS won the toss elected to bowl first.
CM : 134/9 (20 ovr)
JAQUARS: 118/9 (20 ovr)
Result : CM won by 16 runs.
MOM : Kiran for his economical crucial spell (5-1-16-0)

Match Summary:
Match delayed due to wet outfield. Ground fully water and ground staff worked very well. Opponent opted to bowl and CM regular openers (Anantha and Santhosh ) started innings but the start not expected one for CM. Santhosh got out for unexpected slower ball of 2nd over and debutant Baskar also got plumbed out, Now CM in serious trouble quick two wickets.

Now Venkat (wk) walk’s into bat with Anantha and Captain quick fired with 34(22balls 2*4,3*6) got out in the 6th over. Akash joined with Venkat and venkat rotating the strike perfectly, the time comes for Akash and he hits 2 masive six’s before his dismissal 26 runs (22 balls 1*4, 2*6) and Venkat got out for 19 respective overs. After these two dismissals wickets fall in regular intervals. CM in 109/9 at one stage then Gnana and Kiran stepped in and trying to complete the entire quota and they did it with crucial 25 runs partnership. So that CHENNAI MAVERICKS ended with 134/9 20 Overs.

CM started bowling with Pon’s and Gnana , 21 runs in first 2 overs then pon’s magical slow ball draw the first blood of opponent and clean bowled of 2nd opener in Gnana’s 2nd over. After opening spell Opponent 44/2 (6 overs).

Now ball shared with Kiran and Prem, still opponent in strong position until Anantha’s magical leggie cleaned the stumps then Kiran controlled with economical and Anantha taken wickets at Regular interval. Both are completed his spell.
Now 37 runs needed from 24 balls , Ball given to Akash and akash got one wicket with 10 runs.

27 needed from 18 balls, Gnana taking the risk and got wicket with Stunning unbelievable catch from Krishna given 2 runs in that over.25 needed from 12 balls both Gnana and Pon’s controlled and ensured CM Win by 16 Runs.

CM vs RCA
Place: palm tree ground madampakkam.
Toss: CM won the toss elected to bat.
CM: 100/6 (20 ovr)
RCA: 80/10(13.5ovr)
Result: CM Won by 20 runs
MOM: Gnanam for 39 runs (batting)and 3 wkts(bowling).

Summary:
Team is fully set with positive intent because of last match win and planned to give rest to our CM captain Anantha due to fever symptoms and we have extra players in our team skipped couple of our regular players(prem,venkat and bharath). But they are lucky or unlucky and fortunate or unfortunate they got chance in opponent team due to playing 11 shortages in opposition. Akash acted as standing skipper for CHENNAI MAVERICKS first time.

Captain won the toss and elected to bat first.
There is some change in opening pair, last match MOM bowling hero ponravi and debutant sathya started the innings for CM.
The change doesn’t worked and wickets falls like cards collapse. 5 gone for 36 runs inside 10 ovr. Prem bowled well as a opponent got two wkts, most experienced batsman Ramesh and debutant sathya with his sw***er.
Now job went to tailenders who are in critical situation to bring back the game alive.Krishna and Gnana tried to defend the and trying to complete entire quota of overs. Stayed until the unfortunate run out of krishna with mis reading, then gnana completed full quota and remains unbeaten with crucial 39* and CM innings ended 100/6(20ovr).
Now, team have to depend 100 inside 20overs.
Bowling unit started with pon and went fine until Anantha entry. After anantha’s match turned into opponent team hit six in continuous overs.Pons got anantha(36runs ) in crucial time and that is the match for CM.
Pons and gnana got 3 wkts each and kittu got 2 wkts.

Chennai Mavericks Vs Stalwarts

Venue : Santhoshpuram Reddys Ground C
Overs : 25

Toss won by Stalwarts and elected to bat...!

After couple of close losses Chennai Mavericks looking for must needed win.

Gnana started spell for Chennai Mavericks and Stalwarts got a good Start.. In First 3 overs they took 40 runs..

Now Pressure is with Chennai Mavericks Bowlers..Need one wicket..

And 4th over bowled by Ponravi.He gave that breakthrough for his team. Took first wicket of the Match...That wickets credit goes to Javid also, who Took excellent running catch near boundary line.

Afterthat opponent completely surrendered to Ponravi's Bowling...! He took 7 Wickets.. Extraordinary spell from him..

Akash and Anantha supported Ponravi..They bowled quick economical overs in middle..

Stalwarts got all-out in 21 overs.. Target - 143

Chennai Mavericks started their second innings slowly..After loosing early Wicket of Venkat , Pandi joined with Javid gave well support to Javid.. Javid played good knock once again and gave good start for Chennai Mavericks..

After 10th over Chennai Mavericks took 60-1 and in good position..But in quick time Chennai Mavaricks lossed 3 Wickets (Javid, Akash, Anantha).

Scorecard got completely changed in 3 over's.. after 14th over Chennai Mavericks took 73-4.

Now Ramesh joined with Pandi and steadied the innings and after losing pandi's wicket Krishna took pandi's role and gave support to Ramesh...

Ramesh took complete control on game. He played excellent knock and ensured his team's win with well support from pandi, Krishna, Ponravi.

Man of the Match : Ponravi (5 overs - 7 Wickets - 30 Runs)
