In my sessions, I see this all the time —
People know exactly what they should be doing, but the brain finds a way to resist it.
And here’s the truth 👉 it’s not laziness. It’s neuroscience.
When you name the pattern (“this is resistance,” “this is procrastination”), you switch on your prefrontal cortex — the part of your brain that helps you focus and take better decisions.
Awareness gives you back the driver’s seat.
Now pair that with the Lotus Method. 🌸
A lotus never fights the mud. It rises through it, patiently, one petal at a time.
Here’s how it looks in practice:
🌸 Flow, don’t fight → stop battling resistance, take one small step.
🌸 The 5-minute rule → tell yourself “just 5 minutes.” Momentum will take over.
🌸 Patience → growth unfolds slowly, like petals — not overnight.
This is what I keep telling people in the room:
Stop fighting the river. Learn to flow with it.
The mud will always be there.
But so will your ability to bloom. 🌸
