A GREAT FRIENDLY AGAINST ULTIMATE FC THE PAST SUNDAY!!
WKFC PLAYED A GREAT GAME IMPLEMENTING THE STYLE OF PLAY STRESS BY THE COACH.
THE BOYS WERE ABLE TO KEEP POSSESSION AND CONVERT ON THE ATTACKING FRONT.
EBUKA, STAR STRIKER OF THE TEAM HAD TWO GOALS, ONE BEING A CHEEKY CHIP FROM THE FAR SIDE OF THE BOX DRAWING THE GOALKEEPER OUT OF HIS SPACE.
THE GAME ENDED ON A 2-2 DRAW BUT THE TAKING POINTS WERE THAT THE POINTS FOLLOWED THE GAME PLAN, UNDERSTOOD TACTICS AND PLAYED A GREAT GAME OF FOOTBALL.

The game went as we planned with an all out attack from the very first minute of the game. The boys did a good job of following the tactical plan and playing as practiced. There was a good distribution of the ball and flow of play. Krishna and Uday, our full backs gave us good width.

We still have a lot to improve when it comes to finishing as we missed around 10 good opportunities in the first half. Our ability to be clinical in front of the goal is still an important area to improve.

The second half was exciting since we scored 4 goals. The boys were really pumped and were on attack mode. They were much more clinical in their passing and finishing. We dominated the game in the manner we wanted to. It was a beautiful game to watch.

However, in the last 10 minutes the team became too individual minded and started playing for oneself. Everyone wanted to score a goal which sort of threw the rythm off.

Points to note:
1. First two goals were from Penalties. Both scored by Sobby.
2. Krishna and Uday providing great width in the game.
3. Change in tactics with Pranav and Mac interchanging their positions and giving us some great dynamics.
4. Bad referee decisions that has become a constant thing every game.
5. Good use of the WK philosophy.

A win was what was required to get back to winning ways and Wishwa Kings FC managed to get the better of Capital Club by 4 goals to nil.

The game started off with high pressing from WK along with very quick passing and combinational build up play from the back, putting Capital Club on the backfoot from the very 1st minute.

The hard work payed off as some good build up play on the right flank freed up Krishna who got the ball and put it across to Saurabh for the first goal. It was eventually followed by another goal by Ebuka after some good passing in the midfield.

As WK was just getting into the game with a 2-0 lead, Shivam scored a cracker from 25 yards out, putting the ball into the top right corner, leaving everyone including the opposition in awe of that goal.

WK managed to keep the ball and kept on trying to exploit the gaps in the opposition's defence but they managed to hold on till half time.

2nd half started again with high intensity from WK, who pressed high up the pitch, won back the ball back quickly and eventually started to play at their own tempo. Chance creation had gone down in the second half but WK pushed on to get more goals.

Eventually WK was rewarded again, as the 4th goal came from Pacho, who rised above the Capital's defence to head the ball into the goal following a beautiful cross from Shivam.

The game was all about WK and they should have scored more easily, but, nonetheless the team will be looking forward to carry this good spirit, onto the next game to embark on a new winning adventure.
