Amit’s Journey: From the Field to the Scoreboard
Amit Mondal journey began with a childhood dream of becoming a cricketer, nurtured right here at our own cricket camp. From participating in various age-group tournaments in the Chakdaha Zonal Cricket League to eventually becoming a vital part of the senior team, he represented our club with distinction at both the Zonal and District levels.
As the years passed, Amit didn't just stick to playing; he began immersing himself in various technical aspects of the game. He developed a deep connection with roles like scoring and umpiring. Through tireless hard work and a constant drive to establish himself in these fields, he has now achieved a rare distinction that has brought immense pride to both himself and our club.
Amit has proven that a cricket ground doesn't just produce players; it also paves the way for individuals to establish successful careers through various other facets of the sport.
This year, during the T20 World Cup held on our home soil, Amit successfully served as a Digital and Manual Scorer for seven matches, including a high-stakes Semi-Final. Through this remarkable achievement, Amit has not only reached a personal milestone but has also made all of us truly proud.
