The hurdle step is not only a test. You can include hurdle step activity in your regular exercise schedule . It will help in improve your hip mobility, balance, and movement quality.
***The hurdle should be set at a height in the bony bump below the kneecap.
I used barbell. You can also use dowel for best performance.

It’s a misconception that a lot of people are having, that lifting weight for a children above your shoulders might stunt your growth. It’s just a myth. The only risk during your adolescent phase is ego weight lifting which might cause injury but under a proper guidance that won’t happen. Rather it will help you.
Say suppose you observe the bags of school going children are around 10-12 kgs of weight over their shoulders. If lifting weight of children on shoulders would hamper height, then not a single child would have grown taller.
