🏹 From Rural Roots to Olympic Dreams 🇮🇳
A proud and emotional milestone for Dola & Rahul Banerjee Sports Foundation as we inaugurated the Trinetra Archery Academy at Tubed Coal Mines, Latehar last month , in partnership with Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC) State Level Painting_DVC_WB under its CSR initiative.
Jharkhand has consistently produced some of India’s finest Olympians and international athletes. Its villages and tribal communities possess immense natural sporting talent, resilience, and determination. Our mission is to identify these hidden gems from the deepest interiors of the state, nurture them with scientific coaching, and create a clear pathway from grassroots to the Olympic podium.
This initiative is perfectly aligned with the Government of India’s vision of sports for nation building—strengthening grassroots development, promoting inclusivity, empowering tribal youth, and creating opportunities for every talented child to excel.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Shri Suresh Kumar, IAS, whose vision and support made this project a reality. Our sincere thanks also to the Member (Technical) and Member (Staff) of Damodar Valley Corporation for their presence and unwavering commitment towards developing sports through CSR.
