In Lightweight Men's Double
Sculls event, Roopendra Singh
and Manjeet Singh finished
second in Heat 1 with a timing of
6:44.51 over the 2000m distance
In Lighhtweight Women's
Quadruple Sculls, the quartet of
Dittymol Vargheese,
Khumanthem Monalisha Chanu,
Thangjam Chaoba Devi and
Manjula Xess finished 4th in Heat
1 and they will have to compete
in the repechage round
In Lightweight Men's Single
Sculls, Dushiant Dushyant
finished 2nd in Heat 2 by
covering the 2000m distance in
7:23.94 behind Hakbeom Lee of
South Korea
