If the sun never sets in the British empire, it is primarily because the British were never tired of or backward in playing various games. A sportive varsity generates adventurous disciples and winning the game of life becomes their birthright. Even Napoleon admitted that the battle of Waterloo was won on the playing fields of Eton.
Well, VSSUT Burla has always envisaged about such Napoleons during its annual sports fiesta, ILLUMINA upon the grounds of valour and vigour. Players of all ages and all classes show sportsman and team spirits in various sports. Both UG and PG students participate to win the field and track events. Besides, there are mega events for all, yoga and karate events as well as the sports quiz for fun and a zeal to zenith. Imagine, believe and achieve the throne of thorns walking upon the carpet of roses.
ILLUMINA is rather illuminated by the glorious function as well as the freshman year participants, who hike the delicacies of the fiesta. It has rightly been epitomised, "We are the dew drops of mountain who eradicate fear to leave our footprints on the sands of time!"
