All selected swimmers of the Burdwan District Amateur Swimming Association for the forthcoming Senior Bengal Swimming Championship are hereby informed that the Championship has been postponed until further notice.

The revised date and venue of the Championship will be communicated in due course once the newly constituted ad-hoc committee finalises the same.

All concerned swimmers are requested to remain prepared and await further official communication.

সুইমিংপুলে ভর্তি হওয়ার আগে কিছু গুরুত্বপূর্ণ বিষয় ভালোভাবে জেনে নেওয়া খুব দরকার—এগুলো আপনার নিরাপত্তা, শেখার মান এবং অভিজ্ঞতা—সবকিছুর উপর প্রভাব ফেলে।

১. প্রশিক্ষকের যোগ্যতা (Coach Qualification)

কোচ কি সার্টিফাইড?
তিনি কি আগে প্রতিযোগিতামূলক বা প্রফেশনালভাবে ট্রেনিং করিয়েছেন?
নতুনদের শেখানোর অভিজ্ঞতা আছে কিনা

২. পুলের নিরাপত্তা ব্যবস্থা (Safety Measures)

লাইফগার্ড আছে কিনা
জরুরি অবস্থায় প্রাথমিক চিকিৎসার ব্যবস্থা (First Aid)
পুলের গভীরতা (shallow & deep area আলাদা কিনা)

৩. জলের মান ও পরিচ্ছন্নতা (Water Hygiene)

নিয়মিত জল পরিষ্কার করা হয় কিনা
ক্লোরিন লেভেল ঠিক আছে কিনা
জল ঘোলা বা দুর্গন্ধযুক্ত কিনা

৪. ক্লাসের সময়সূচি ও ব্যাচ সাইজ

সপ্তাহে কয়দিন ক্লাস
এক ব্যাচে কতজন থাকে (অতিরিক্ত ভিড় হলে শেখা কম হয়)
আপনার সুবিধামতো সময় আছে কিনা

৫. ফি ও অতিরিক্ত খরচ
সাধারণ ভাবে পুলে বার্ষিক ফিজ হয় কিন্তু
কোনো hidden charge আছে কিনা (registration, costume, etc.)

পানীয় জল বা বসার জায়গা আছে কিনা

১০. লক্ষ্য (Your Goal)

আপনি কি শুধু শিখতে চান, নাকি প্রতিযোগিতার জন্য?
সেই অনুযায়ী কোচিং পাওয়া যাবে কিনা

ছোট করে বললে: Safety + Coach + Hygiene + Batch Size—এই চারটা জিনিস সবচেয়ে বেশি গুরুত্ব দিন।

# ২০২৬–২০২৭ সেশন থেকে সব খেলোয়াড়ের (সাঁতারু, ওয়াটার পোলো ও ডাইভিং) জন্য অনলাইনে রেজিস্ট্রেশন বাধ্যতামূলক করা হয়েছে।
# রেজিস্ট্রেশন করতে হবে BASA-র ওয়েবসাইটে গিয়ে, এবং গাইডলাইন (ম্যানুয়াল) সেখানেই পাওয়া যাবে।
# প্রত্যেক খেলোয়াড়কে ১০০ টাকা রেজিস্ট্রেশন ফি দিতে হবে, যা সংশ্লিষ্ট জেলা সেক্রেটারি বা নির্দিষ্ট ব্যক্তির কাছে জমা দিতে হবে।
# রেজিস্ট্রেশন তখনই সম্পূর্ণ হবে, যখন জেলা ইউনিট তা যাচাই করে সুপারিশ করবে।
# রেজিস্ট্রেশনের সময় সঠিক ও সত্য তথ্য দেওয়া বাধ্যতামূলক—ভুল তথ্য দিলে শাস্তিমূলক ব্যবস্থা নেওয়া হতে পারে।
# রেজিস্ট্রেশন না করলে কোনো প্রতিযোগিতায় অংশগ্রহণ করা যাবে না।
# সব জেলা ইউনিটকে এই নিয়মগুলি কঠোরভাবে মানার নির্দেশ দেওয়া হয়েছে।

A Remarkable Triumph in the Arabian Sea: Pratyay Bhattacharya’s Achievement at the 35th Veer Savarkar All India Sea Swimming Competition, 2026.

Indian open-water swimming witnessed another inspiring chapter when Veer Savarkar All India Sea Swimming Competition, one of the toughest sea swimming events in the country, was held at Gir Somnath, Gujarat in 2026. Among the courageous swimmers who braved the unpredictable waters of the Arabian Sea, Pratyay Bhattacharya once again proved his extraordinary endurance and determination.
The competition, held along the challenging stretch from Chorwad Beach to Veraval, covers approximately 21 nautical miles, testing swimmers against strong sea currents, changing tides, and the relentless expanse of the open sea. This race is widely regarded as one of India’s most demanding open-water swimming challenges.

Pratyay Bhattacharya displayed remarkable stamina, courage, and tactical brilliance while navigating these difficult conditions. Competing against swimmers from different parts of the country, he once again emerged victorious, reinforcing his reputation as one of India’s finest open-water swimmers. His ability to maintain pace and composure across such a long and hazardous distance reflects years of disciplined training and unwavering commitment to the sport.

This victory holds special significance as it continues Pratyay’s impressive record in the prestigious competition. Winning such a demanding sea swim requires not only physical strength but also mental resilience, strategic awareness of tides, and the ability to endure hours of swimming in open waters.
