JKA Jharkhand (State unit of JKAWF India) is centrally organised and coordinated through JKA Jharkhand HQ, situated in Bokaro, although there are many member groups and branch dojo in different areas of the state. JKA Jharkhand has been formed by the group of Shotokan Instructors from Ranchi, Ramgarh, Dumka and JKA Bokaro. JKAWF India has appointed Kashif Ahmad (JKA Sandan) as Ofiicial Representative and Chief Instructor of JKAWF India in Jharkhand. The JKA Bokaro team had an incredible opportunity to train with Yuko Hirayama Shihan at the Space Circle Club in Kolkata on January 20, 2026. Her expertise will undoubtedly take our karate skills to the next level.
Huge congratulations to Suhani Singh (Nidan), Amit Kumar Mahatha(Shodan), and Aqib Haque(Shodan) on passing their black belt exams. We're eagerly awaiting the results of Sumit Mishra Sensei and Rakhi Choudhary Sensei's Instructor license exam.
Appreciation to the parents for their continuous encouragement throughout the journey.

Successful completion of the 3rd Bokaro District JKA Karate Championship on 21 December 2025 at the Amrut Park Indoor Hall, Phase-V, Bokaro Steel City, with the total participation of 92 karateka showcasing their best versions on the tatami.
We are thankful to the Oriental Insurance Company Ltd. for co-sponsoring this championship.
Karateka who secured 1st and 2nd place will be participating in the upcoming All India JKA Karate Championship 2026.

We extend a warm invitation to all JKA karate enthusiasts in Jharkhand to witness the most prestigious 'Shobu Ippon' karate event of the year - The 3rd Bokaro District Inter-Dojo JKA Karate Championship 2025 on Sunday, December the 21st at the Indoor Hall of Amrut Park, Phase V, Bokaro Steel City, Jharkhand for the talented JKA practitioners competing in various categories to showcase their skills and expertise.

The championship will follow the traditional 'Ippon Shobu' format, a style of karate competition pioneered by the JKA in Japan over 70 years ago. In this format, a single decisive point, or 'Ippon,' secures victory, emphasizing the importance of precision, power, and technique. We look forward to an exciting display of martial arts excellence!

This event is organised by the JKAWF INDIA Jharkhand and supported by the JKA Bokaro.

JKA Kyu upgradation examination organised today at JKA Bokaro Honbu Dojo for the 55 students of Bokaro district in Jharkhand state under the JKA accredited examiner Kashif Ahmad Sensei. Students have demonstrated their technical skills to get promoted to their respective ranks.
We congratulate all students for achieving their upgraded belts and wish them all the best for the upcoming journey of Karate.
