Successfully concluded the 2nd Bokajan LAC Level Chess Championship, 2026 org. by Greater Hanjanglangso Chess Association at Sarihajan Higher Secondary School, Sarihajan, Karbi Anglong on the 17th of May.
Chief Arbiter Sanjoy Das , FIDE Arbiter, officiated the event.
Chief Guest Miss Priya Tokbipi, Assistant Executive Engineer, Irrigation Department, Sarihajan, East Karbi Anglong Division attended at the Opening Ceremony. She formally opens the tournament by playing the inaugural move with the President of Greater Hanjanglangso chess association Mr. Darsing Terang. A total of 40 players from different parts of Bokajan participated in the event with 5 rounds of Swiss league.

The prize distribution ceremony was attended by Mr. Philip Teron, as the Chief Guest. He delivered inspirational messages and encouraged all the players in his speeches.
Before the prize distribution begins, GHCA offered a MEMENTO OF APPRECIATION to Miss Priya Tokbipi for her immense financial support to GHCA.
