On May 15, 2025, Nozomu Hagihara (Nono), Founder of FC Nono, reached the final destination of his 2,000km solo dribbling challenge across India—the Embassy of Japan in India, located in the nation’s capital, New Delhi!

We plan to submit an official application for Guinness World Records recognition of the 2,000km dribbling challenge across India. We will share updates on the application results as soon as they become available. Please stay tuned!

Japanese social activist Nozomu Hagihara (Nono) is set to embark on an extraordinary challenge — a 2,000-kilometer solo dribbling journey across India, starting from March 3, 2025.
His mission: to inspire children across India to take on challenges and believe in their potential.

The journey will commence in Kolkata and pass through Jharkhand, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, and finally New Delhi, where he will be welcomed at the Embassy of Japan in India. The ambitious project will take 90 days to complete.

To maximize the reach and impact of this initiative, Nono is inviting Indian businesses and individuals to join as sponsors. Interested parties can contribute towards supporting the logistics, outreach activities, and community engagement initiatives along the journey.

On January 8, 2025, we had the honor of being invited to the Embassy of India in Japan. Our team representative, Nono, along with Abhilasha Devaraj, FC Nono’s Board Member, and Mayo ji, FC Nono’s Official Ambassador, presented our activity report and engaged in a fruitful exchange of ideas.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who made this visit possible, including the staff of the Embassy of India in Japan and Counselor Mr. Orita san from the Embassy of Japan in the United States.
