The KTM 390 Adventure R is set to make its way to India, with its arrival now confirmed by Manik Nangia, President – Probiking at Bajaj Auto, in interactions with the media.
-- This version will sit above the current India-spec 390 Adventure.
-- The 390 Adventure R will be powered by the newer 399cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine paired with a 6-speed gearbox.
-- Key highlights include 230mm of adjustable suspension, 21-inch front and 18-inch rear spoked wheels, a 5-inch TFT display, and advanced electronics such as ride modes, switchable ABS, traction control, and IMU-based rider aids.
-- Compared to the standard model, the R version brings longer suspension travel, higher ground clearance, and a more off-road-focused chassis and ergonomics.
-- With this confirmation, the 390 Adventure lineup in India is set to expand towards more serious trail and rally-style riding. Pricing, final specifications, and localisation details are expected to be revealed closer to the official launch.
