The freedom we got in 1947 never came for free...Millions of lives were laid down....Millions of helpless people fought a long drawn peaceful battle to overthrow the mighty Britishers. Without a sword , without a bullet , with the power of ahimsa and satyagraha the defenceless people of India fought the most memorable battle of independence. History stands proof for the mettle shown by Indians and we are known to be the flag bearer of the most powerful and most vivid democracy. Today the tyranny of the state stands to silence the same Indians ....
1st they silenced the opposition
2nd they silenced the journalists
3rd they silenced the constitutional bodies and made them into puppets
4th they silenced the social activists
5th they silenced the scientists and educationists
Now they are coming for us the common man
They will try to silence any one and every one who raises a voice. They will silence all the sons and daughters of the soil...in order to retain power..they can go to any length. They will brand the most nationalist son as the anti national. Time has come for us to rise and raise a voice silently yet effectively.
" Mai Bhi Sonam" campaign is to raise the voice against tyranny of the state.
Wear it as a T Shirt or post it on social media ...The silent poster should speak millions of words...and raise a billion Sonam's who can't be silenced... "मैं भी सोनम" should ring across the length and breadth of the nation. We cannot be silenced into oblivion against a marauding political system which plans to destroy everything on its way to power..
Stand up and get counted....
