Presenting to you Divesh Jain. This boy hails from the land of the brave, Haryana, and mind you, this is very prominent in his character on the court. Not just when he euro-steps his way to the hoop, also when he is out there defending fearlessly with only one goal in his mind, to win the ball game. All this while being quite approachable and friendly off the court, he is very active and engaging with the team. His dedication for the game is second to none, he’s generally the first to arrive and last to leave the court. Watch him play his second Inter-IIT this season, breaking through the defensive zones to lay it up in the basket and if that doesn’t work, he has got his sharpshooting skills to take care of the rest.

Hello there folks, with just few days left for Inter IIT, we are ready to perform our best at IIT Kharagpur this year and so is our star player Nidarshini.
Nidarshini, one of those players who can go coast to coast and take complete control of the match. Her shots know nothing but net, and when she makes it rain there is no stopping her. Guiding the team to several wins in the past, she has been a moral pillar for her team. She plays the game with grace and gives her one hundred percent to win it. She has been one of our best performers in crunch situations, and she is in no mood to let her reputation go down. The team feels blessed to have such a good player among them and the freshmen look up to her. This Inter IIT you can witness some jaw-dropping shots as she plays for IIT Bhubaneswar.

If you happen to visit our court on an off-day and hear someone practicing, that is for sure Yukta as she believes that the only way to fix her weaknesses is through hard work. Evolving her game since her first year, she is now our go-to player. Besides her prowess in shooting, she is also a proficient dribbler which helps her drive swiftly past the defense and finish strong with both hands. If that does not work, she has enough tricks in her bag to fake the defenders out of their position and she makes it look easy. She is one of the most competitive and passionate players in the team. Like a warrior on the battlefield, she is always determined to prove her mettle on the court. There are times when she pushed the team nonchalantly, sustaining a close lead. She plays a dominant role in the mental strength of the players by gearing up their spirits through tough times. This Inter IIT, get ready to feel the exciting atmosphere as Yukta appears along with her team.

We are back and this time we have with us, Vinod!
To start with, Vinod is the hunk of the team. Often found working out at the gym, he is second to none when it comes to basketball. The strength, the grit and the determination he possesses is off the charts. He is one of the defensive-minded players yet contributes to the scoring consistently with his strong finishes at the rim. On the court with his rigorous work ethic, he does put up some extra shots during sessions. Nevertheless, once off the court, he is the coolest person to be with. Humming Punjabi tunes, grooving to the beat, and upping his swagger a bit. The fun he brings to the court, for sure, relieves some pressure and creates better bonding with the team. This Inter IIT, a third time for him, watch the opponent's defense go haywire as Vinod races up and down the court tirelessly.

We kick off our page with a series of posts about our players, representing us at this year's Inter IIT tournament. To start with, we present to you Ashwin, the lean power forward of our team.
Well if you don't know Ashwin, you haven't been near the basketball court over the past three years. Not only the most experienced in the team, but he is also the calmest person on the court. However not so silent the court is when the ball is in his hands. He always finds a way to put the ball in the hoop, either weaving through the defense with his sweet low dribble or shooting deep clutch threes from way downtown. And if you're on a one-v-one with him, you better get some new shoes with some good ankle support, else he'll leave you in a heap. Apart from skills, his character is what makes him the best on and off the court. Soft-spoken and kind to his teammates, he brings the team together. Sometimes he's not going to be easy on you, especially when you are being schooled. Watch out for him this Inter IIT as he plays for IIT Bhubaneswar, a fourth and final time hoping for a good showdown. Don't forget to keep a close eye on his scoring, you might lose count as he goes on and on. To be precise, you'd rather play with him than against him.
