The historic tale of *Rani Kamlapati*, the Gond queen was presented on stage for the very first time by *Natyashasra Dance Academy* through kathak dance ballet at *Shahid Bhawan, Bhopal* on 2nd August, 2018. The story revolves around the Seventeenth Century Gond Maharani of Gainnagarh , who was heroic and intelligent and whose beauty was the stuff of legend. She is said to be beautiful like fairies and more fragile than flowers. The kingdom prospered rapidly under her umbrella. Her life was full of struggles but then also, she proved to be an exemplary leader and warrior.
