"Sportsman ko koi dabaa nahi sakta..."these were the words of one of the young budding cricketer from Baanka who plays for Bhagalpur Bombers....I was amazed to meet these girls from small districts of Bihar... many of them are staying away from their families ..they have left their villages and are putting up in hostels...they go through financial hardships, parental pressure,lack of opportunities yet they have kept their dreams alive..... confident , fearless and so talented.... they are our girls.... It was indeed a wonderful change for me to watch them performing in the ground as most of our children these days are addicted to the world of virtual games where the screen has become their playground ..... Congratulations to all those who are taking a keen interest and are promoting women's cricket in Bihar...a grt effort which deserves to be applauded....👏👏
