• ज़मीन के स्वास्थ्य में सुधार होता है जिससे फ़सल में बीमारियों का खतरा कम हो जाता है ।
• इससे ज़मीन की फिजिकल कंडीशन और टेक्सचर बेहतर होता है।
• ज़मीन में पोर स्पेस बढ़ाता है जिससे ऑक्सीजन और नाइट्रोजन साइकल अच्छे से चलता है और ज़मीन के अंदर रहने वाले बैक्ट्रियास और डीकंपोजर्स अच्छे से अपना काम करते है ।
• ज़मीन में नमी अच्छे से बनी रहती है ।
• ज़मीन नरम हो जाती है जिससे बारिस और सिंचाई का पानी अच्छे से ज़मीन में अंदर तक जाता है ।
• फ़सल कटने के बाद बचे हुई फसल का पार्ट ज़मीन मिल जाता है और डीकंपोज होकर ज़मीन का स्ट्रेक्चर अच्छा बनता है और फ़सल की ऊपज बढ़ता है ।
