Day 10: @ Okinawa Karate Kaikan : The Monument of Honor Celebration Event for Founder Shoshin Nagamine

It’s been 27 yrs for today, On November 2nd, 1997, we bid farewell to O'Sensei Shoshin Nagamine, whose profound legacy continues to inspire and guide us. His life’s mission and philosophy exemplified the values of strength through restraint, respect, and peace. Today, we honor his memory and uphold the path he laid before us.

O'Sensei Nagamine once shared a guiding principle for all practitioners: “First, purify your mind.” These words continue to resonate deeply, shaping our practice and our way of life.

With deep reverence, we dedicate our practice at Okinawa Karate Kaikan to his enduring Matsubayashi Ryu form of karate, cherishing the timeless ethics he imparted.

We’ve successfully completed Traditional Matsubayashi Shorin Ryu Kata and Kobudo Seninar 2023 by Okinawa Shorin Ryu Karate Do Kobudo India on 10/12/2023 @ Bangalore, by Sensei Kugan India Chief of WMKA.
