Taekwondo Association District Ramban Launches Mega Taekwondo Campaign Against Drugs in Banihal

Banihal, 12/05/2025 – In a powerful initiative to combat the rising threat of drug abuse, the Taekwondo Association District Ramban organized a Mega Taekwondo Roadshow Campaign (Rally) today in Banihal Market, under the banner “Say No to Drugs, Yes to Life.”

Led by Association President Mr Sohib Masroor, the event witnessed enthusiastic participation from Martial Arts Club Banihal, with student athletes marching through the streets to raise awareness and spread strong anti-drug messages.

Present at the campaign were Coach Mohsin Rafiq Wani of Martial Arts Club Banihal and Technical Advisor Mr. Nayeem Masroor , who both played crucial roles in organizing and motivating the youth participants. The athletes and coaches rallied with banners and slogans like:

"Say No to Drugs, Yes to Life"

"Choose Life, Not Drugs"

"Nashe Se Bachoo, Zindagi Jiyo"

The rally attracted the attention of the local community and passersby, as the disciplined Taekwondo students showcased the power of martial arts not only as a sport but as a lifestyle that promotes health, discipline, and a drug-free future.

President Mr. Sohaib Masroor stated, “Our youth must be protected from the dangers of addiction. This campaign reflects our commitment to guiding our youth toward a brighter, addiction-free future through the discipline of Taekwondo.”

Mohsin Rafiq Wani added, “This rally is our message to the youth of Banihal—there is no strength in addiction, but endless power in choosing life, health, and purpose.”

The campaign marks a major step in the association's ongoing efforts to promote social awareness and youth empowerment across the Ramban district.
