Ardha Chandrasana is a standing balance yoga pose that strengthens the legs, core, and ankles while improving balance and flexibility. The name comes from Sanskrit:
• Ardha = half
• Chandra = moon
• Asana = pose
Key alignment tips
• Keep the standing leg strong but not locked.
• Flex the raised foot and press through the heel.
• Engage the core to stabilize the body.
• Stack the top hip above the bottom hip.
