Kasturi Rao is the name for Ordinary to Extraordinary at Ashva Running Club. Kasturi who is quite, simple by nature, who is also Conditioning and Strengthening coach at Ashva ran all the way from Bangalore to Kukke Subramanya Temple covering the distance of 285km under the guidance of none other than Ultra/Inter city running champion Mr. Giridhar Kamath.

Kasturi has never run a single marathon till date. But she set an example that women can do anything if they make up her mind. Kasturi being a young mother, wife and responsible coach took this challenge for herself and successfully completed with pride.

Ashva is very proud and happy about Kasturi's achievement and thank Giridhar Kamath for the support.

Mr Vinod and his wife Ms Asha another extraordinary couple in Ashva Running Club. These are again not at all a speed runners going behind time. But, so so dedicated towards consistentcy my God, it's unbelievable. Both started jogging 2years back and today's they completed Killer 50km Malnad Ultra. They never ever have given one single excuse for skipping training from start to till date. They took step by step approach by running 5k first and then to10k, 21k, 42k and today 50k.

Please join me in congratulating Ram from Ashva Club for completing his World Majors today after his New York completion. He is the second person to achieve this feat besides Upen in the Club and joins one among hardly less than 50 in entire India. World Majors means who has run all 6 World Major Marathon.( Berlin, London, Tokyo, Chicago, Boston and New York)

What is great about Ram is, he is not fast runner like many of us, but he is just right example of real ametuer runner. Enjoys running and achieved one of the prestigious title.

Ashva is very happy and proud of him.

Deepak Rajput, less than 2yrs into running moved from 60min to little over 40min in 10k decided to test his endurance limits and goes on to complete 100km at Mindtree 20th year anniversary celebration run. Very typical example that "you perform better when there is no pressure" of timings, bib, position etc. Wishing Deepak many more such successful running years.

Kasturi Rao who is our flexibility & conditioning specialist quitely completed her maiden 50k run at Mindtree's 20th anniversary run. It was an wellness initiative run so there was no pressure of timing, podiums etc.

Ashva Running Club is very happy and proud of Ms. Kasturi Rao on her stupendous performance. Thanks to Giridhar Kamath for making one more soul happy and stood there with her for entire 60000 steps.

Two of our lovely ladies Makin Ashva proud by climbing podium last Sunday. Kasturi Rao gets 1st in 10k at SBI Green Marathon, Bhubaneshwar and Asha wins Runner up in 21k with her personal best time at 'Run for a Green and Smart city,Shimoga. Ashva Running Club is very happy and proud of Kasturi and Asha

Shloka gets on to podium once again in 3k run with the timing of 00:12:21 at Pinkathon 2019, Bangalore. This is her 7th podium in Pinkathon from last 4 years. 4 podiums in Bangalore and 3 podiums in Chennai.

Congratulations to Kasturi Rao on her first 25k and getting on to leader board i.e, 8th position in her age category in an International event. Tata Steel 25k Kolkata 2018. At Ashva we appreciate the effort and journey towards goal and we know results will follow
