If you do cardio after lifting weights, here's what actually happens⬇️

Short answer: It’s usually the best order if your goal is muscle + fat loss

1️⃣. You protect muscle growth
Lifting first means your muscles are fresh - better strength, better pumps, better progress.
If you do cardio first, you’re pre-fatigued and
lift lighter = less stimulus to grow.

2️⃣. You burn more fat
After lifting, your glycogen (stored carbs) is lower.
So when you hop on cardio, your body leans more toward fat as fuel.
Not magic-but efficient.

3️⃣. Better hormone response
Lifting spikes testosterone & growth hormone.
Doing cardio after helps keep that anabolic signal instead of blunting it early.

4️⃣. Cardio feels harder (but works better)
You’re already tired, heart rate rises faster → you get more out of less time.
Great for incline walking, cycling, or short HIIT.
