Badminton as a Sport has been extensively played at all levels. It will focus on the Basic and Intermediate level as well as cover fitness aspects.

Due to Role models like Prakash Padukone, Gopi Chand, Saina Nehwal among others, good performance by the Indian players on the international stage and innovative formats like the IBL, many people are taking up the sport. The sport has become extremely popular with Children, Non Professionals and Badminton Enthusiasts. Players representing Corporates and organizations have a genuine desire to get b

etter at the sport and get some inputs, which so far they have not had access to. To cater to this need, Indian Badminton Legend - Prakash Padukone, Olympian and Former National coach - Vimal Kumar have devised a coaching module for Children as well as Adults, Non Professionals and Enthusiasts. There will be an evaluation of current proficiency levels to slot into the specific programs. The focus will be on correct footwork, specific stroke play through On court Drills and Multi feed. There will be strong emphasis on Scientific Warm Up, Post Play Stretching, Overall Fitness Aspects including Strength & Conditioning, Agility development etc. The aspiring children purely on merit will also have a chance to meet our National and International players at the Prakash Padukone Badminton Academy which is purely a center of excellence.
