After Nine days into expedition and climbing Khardungla & Chang la & then riding on the frozen Pangong Tso, on 11th of Feb 2015 team reach this historical landmark of Indian army, called 'Rezang la war memorial' [site of the last stand of the 13 Kumaon & a symbol of bravery and self-sacrifice to the highest level a mankind can think off]

It was a proud moment for all of us, reaching this point on a cycle in the dead winter. And it was our privilege to pay respect to these brave souls and say loudly.... JAI HIND..with shivering from head to toe and looking at mountains on the Tibetan side.
It was at noon 12.35pm that we suddenly thought 'the life is very precious' and decided to call off our first part of expedition because of extreme weather condition & time constrain to reach the camp site.
The cold wind & weather was so bad out there in Chushul valley, that it took us almost 2.5 hours to traverse just 16km on a flat to moderate climb terrain. Later we reached camp site Nyoma on support vehicle.

It was a wonderful event yesterday evening as we shared our experiences and launched the official trailer of the expedition.
Thanks to everybody who made it to the event amid heavy rains and traffic jams. It was an amazing atmosphere! Thanks to Team Wheelsports and Pradeep Shastry for hosting the event.
