As the curtain draws, the end of another fruitful season for the UVCE football team.
This year was the year of the youth rising up the ranks and playing their best, and despite the inexperience, they have shown their calibre and shined throughout the year.
It was a small step down from the previous year, but it will be a huge step forward for the future of UVCE football.

The team this year came racked up a runners trophy for Esportivo 2019. And have shown some great improvements in their attacking play which was very necessary. All the hard work on and off the pitch could be seen during the games.
And as the UVCE football family grew, the team's traditions still remains.

We wish our senior team members all the best for their future, and look forward to having their support for the future teams to come.

We also look forward to our stars of the future in the coming months as the 2019-20 college football season kicks off. Stay tuned for more updates.

The team kicked off this even semester at the NMIT Tournament held a MVIT grounds.
The team displayed a brilliant first half but a sloppy second half and eventually lost on penalties 5-4 to BMSCE.
The team has been preparing hard for upcoming tournaments and played a friendly against BIT today. Both teams played a good 30-30 minutes of football.

The Oranje Army's season kicked off this weekend as they recorded their first win this season against SIT Tumkur in the Sir MVIT tournament. After a disappointing first round exit in the BMS tournament. There was a spark in the team which was imminent to grow.
The team displayed some very attractive passing and movement in their 1-0 victory.
The next round saw them go down fighting against a very strong MSR 2-1 conceding a last minute set piece.
The men showed us their fighting spirit after going down 1-0 and gave the opponents a mighty scare.
We know that the teams invincible spirit will pay off one day.

The team which will remain one in the history books for some time now. The results of the whole season as follows :
St John's Medical College , Inter-Collegiate football tournament - Quarterfinalist
Sir MVIT , Inter-Collegiate football tournament - Quarterfinalist
Presidency Challenge Cup - Group Stages
RVCE , Inter-Collegiate football tournament - Round of 16
Bangalore University , Inter-Collegiate football tournament - North Zone Runners Up , League Stage Second Runners Up (3rd Place in Bangalore University)
St Claret's Football Tournament - Winners
Esportivo : "Dream It. Win It " - Semi-finalists

This team has achieved quite a mile-stone. Many teams under UVCE football have tried and came very close but this team has breached the mark.
They have fought from a place in nowhere to get somewhere.
The players must be extremely proud of what they have achieved.
Congratulations and all the best for the future of the team.
While teams will come and teams will go, UVCE football will continue to grow. Keep showering the love UVCEians ! We'll get back soon ; stronger than ever , fighting for the glory of the college.

A successful season comes to an end and as tradition , the team went out for a grand dinner at Comfort Inn.
It has been an amazing season to remember with the ups and down ! And overall the FAMILY sticks together and the values of the UVCE Football team are taken care of, as taught by the seniors.
