Sometimes the biggest lesson isn’t learned during the race.
It’s learned in the recovery that follows.
For , finishing the event was only part of the story. The real challenge came afterwards, when months of recovery revealed the true cost of under-fuelling and the demands that ultra-endurance events place on the body.
Through experience, assessment, nutrition, and preparation, the goal shifted from simply surviving an event to understanding what it takes to perform consistently.
Because endurance isn’t just about reaching the finish line.
It’s about building a body that can recover, adapt, and keep progressing.
