1. Lift Like You Mean It : If you can do the maximum number of suggested reps without feeling fatigued, add weights. If you canβt complete the minimum number of suggested reps, reduce the weight in increments until you can. Your last 1/2 reps should always feel tough but doable.
2. Loosen Up : De-clenching your fists will prevent you from tensing up your arms which can stress your upper back and shoulders.
3. Stay In Control : When working on abs, donβt use momentum to complete the exercise. Instead keep your muscles contracted throughout the entire range of motion.
4. Stretch To Get Stronger : Some research shows that stretching the muscle group you just worked between sets can increase strength gains by up to 19%!
5. Always Warm Up & Warm Down : Take 10 minutes to gradually raise your heart rate between a workout and lower it afterward to help maintain mobility and flexibility whilst preventing injury.
