They said the maidan is just for practice.

We said, watch what happens when we give it a stage. India has never had a shortage of cricket talent.

Not in the able-bodied game. Not in adaptive cricket. Not on the dirt maidans of every city, or the community courts no one films.

What it’s had a shortage of is platforms. Stages. People willing to organise, fund, and broadcast the match. That’s what Wilspoke does. Talent is everywhere. Opportunity is not. Yet.

The system around it does. The leagues. The funding. The coverage. The assumption of who belongs on the field and who watches from the side.
