Ramzan is a special month of the year where people observe fasts from dawn to dusk. While it is essential to follow the rituals of the holy month, it is also important to maintain one's fitness level. Here are some tips to help you stay fit and healthy during Ramzan

Do not skip Suhoor: Suhoor is the pre-dawn meal that provides the body with the necessary energy to fast throughout the day. It is essential to have a healthy and balanced meal that includes complex carbohydrates, protein, and healthy fats.

Stay hydrated: It is crucial to drink plenty of water during non-fasting hours to stay hydrated. You can also drink coconut water, buttermilk, and other hydrating drinks.

Plan your workout schedule: You can exercise during non-fasting hours, either early in the morning or after breaking the fast. However, it is advisable to avoid high-intensity workouts and focus on light exercises such as yoga, stretching, and walking.

Eat a balanced Iftar meal: After breaking the fast, it is essential to have a balanced meal that includes complex carbohydrates, protein, and healthy fats. Avoid fried and fatty foods and opt for grilled or baked options.

Avoid overeating: Overeating can lead to indigestion and other health issues. Eat slowly and mindfully and listen to your body's signals to avoid overeating.

Get enough sleep: It is essential to get enough sleep during Ramzan to help the body rest and recharge. Make sure to get 7-8 hours of sleep every night.

By following these tips, you can maintain your fitness levels during Ramzan while also observing the rituals of the holy month.
