Last night our Mastermind topic was Office Politics. And I planned to discuss strategies.
Instead

We uncovered confusion.

Many Students said,
“I’m a good manager. My team doesn’t have bad politics.”

True.
They have built a healthy environment for their team.

But here’s the blind spot.

You control your team’s environment.
You don’t control your manager’s environment.

And that’s often what controls your growth.

A big lesson for me as a coach:
Never assume people know the BASICS

Office politics can be a tricky game to navigate in your career journey. It's not just about being a good manager, but also understanding the dynamics at play.
Don't be blindsided by the environment you're in!
Because being unaware of the environment around you can quietly slow down the speed of your career.

Awareness is not complaining.
It’s career intelligence.

In our Raise the BAR Mastermind for Diamond students, Wonderful minds came together to role play, reflect, and reframe. Because growth is not just about better answers. It’s about better self-leadership.

The biggest takeaway?
A job interview is a conversation. Not a courtroom verdict.
And self-awareness should build you, not break you.

As we wrap up February, I’m reminded again:
What we do in the first 90 days shapes the trajectory of rest of our year.

Looking forward to start March, as it's not just another month.

Taking a couple of days to visit family in Chennai… and stealing one full day just to celebrate our birthday boy Yogendrah Vir 🎂💚💛💜

No matter how busy life gets, family is not a break from success.
It is the reason behind it.
