Roman exiles Solo Sikoa from the family
- The Bloodline starts helping Roman again
- Triple H announces that Roman will have to defend the title IN the Royal Rumble match as per "orders from above"
- In the Rumble's final four, it's Roman, Seth, Oba and Solo.
- The Rock returns and instead of helping Roman, he gives him a Rock Bottom
- Oba throws Roman out to win the Rumble and the world title
- The Rock reinstates Solo back to the family and challenges Roman to a match at WM43
