Valavaara (2026) is a heartwarming Kannada coming-of-age family drama directed by debutant Sutan Gowda. Set in the scenic landscapes of Sakleshpur, Karnataka, the story follows Kundeshi, a young boy from a struggling farming family who feels neglected due to his father’s favoritism toward his younger brother, Kosudi.
The plot kicks into gear when the brothers take their pregnant cow for a walk, and it goes missing. Terrified of facing his strict father, Kundeshi embarks on a desperate search to find the cow. Along the way, he forms an unlikely friendship with Yadhu, a carefree village youth.
