यद्यपि काफी छला गया हूँ
फिर भी व्यथित नहीं हूँ मैं
हारे मुरझाये हुए पथों का
किंचित भी पथिक नहीं हूँ मैं

जो जो हाथ छोड़ते जाते
तेर मेर का खेल रचाते
इन सबकी इस जोड़ तोड़ से
थोड़ा भी चकित नहीं हूँ मैं

यद्यपि काफी छला गया हूँ
फिर भी व्यथित नहीं हूँ मैं

लेन देन के आधारों पर
जिसका घटना बढ़ना निर्भर
उस प्रेम के आकर्षण से
क्षणभर भी मुदित नहीं हूँ मैं
