ഡി1 ന്റെ ലാലു കളിയിലെ താരം ആയി.ലെജന്റ്സിന്റെ ശ്രീകാന്ത് മികച്ച ബാറ്റ്സ്മാനും നേച്ചേഴ്സ് 11 ന്റെ കിച്ചു മികച്ച ബൗളറും ആയി

ജനനായകൻ ഇനി ഓർമ. മുൻ മുഖ്യമന്ത്രി ഉമ്മൻ ചാണ്ടി (79) അന്തരിച്ചു. അർബുദത്തിന് ചികിത്സയിലിരിക്കെ ബെംഗളൂരുവിലെ ആശുപത്രിയിൽ ഇന്നു പുലർച്ചെ 4.25നായിരുന്നു ഉമ്മൻ ചാണ്ടിയുടെ അന്ത്യം. സംസ്കാരം വ്യാഴാഴ്ച 2.30 ന് പുതുപ്പള്ളി സെന്റ് ജോർജ് ഓർത്തഡോക്സ് വലിയ പള്ളി സെമിത്തേരിയിൽ. നടക്കും. ഉമ്മൻ ചാണ്ടിയുടെ ഭൗതിക ശരീരം ഇന്ന് പ്രത്യേക വിമാനത്തിൽ ബെംഗളൂരുവിൽ നിന്നും തിരുവനന്തപുരത്ത് എത്തിക്കും. കെപിസിസി ആസ്ഥാനത്തും ദർബാർ ഹാളിലും പൊതുദർശനമുണ്ടാകും. മുൻ മുഖ്യമന്ത്രിയോടുള്ള ആദരസൂചകമായി സംസ്ഥാനത്ത് ഇന്ന് പൊതു അവധി പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ചു. രണ്ടു ദിവസത്തെ ഔദ്യോഗിക ദുഃഖാചരണവും പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ചു.
