Does spot reduction work?
Our team has a piece of advice for anyone looking to burn fat from a specific part of their body:
“When it comes to losing stubborn fat, targeting specific body parts isn’t an effective approach. Instead of complicating matters, focus on one simple logic: CALORIE DEFICIT!
Although you can train specific body parts to build muscles (chest, arms, legs, etc.), it’s not the same when it comes to fat loss. So, don’t go for spot reduction. Instead, focus on overall fat loss!”
