Shaurya is the Annual inter-departmental sports meet organised every year by the Sports Society of NIT Mizoram to carve out the hidden potential of the students in the form of various number of events ranging from mainstream sports to popular games. It prepares a sound platform to the students to showcase their slumbering vigour, potential, stamina and incessant courage in an extremely profound ma

nner. It also proves to be a sort of stress-reliever to the students who are usually burnt up by the academic pressure throughout the year. Continual and terrific competitive events throughout the stipulated period, really tests the mettle and potential of the participants which in turn strikes a carol of competitiveness that lies deep within the raging hearts of the young souls. Shaurya, apart from upholding the most desired spirit of positive and fierce competition, also entertains the harmony that is a unique and true identity of sportsmanship. Besides this, it proves to be a great source of frolic and utter exhilaration both for the participants as well as the spectators.
