Yasmeen being a bright student visited Ahmedabad for her summer training at the prestigious IIM-A and even with hectic schedules she managed to show up for yoga class πŸ˜‡

As a working professional you need extra care for your body

It’s more important for you to move the right way in order not to strain the muscle yet work on it to strengthen it up πŸ’«

Here are a few yoga poses for those who sit for long duration at work :-

Utkatasana : The Chair Pose is a wonderful yoga pose to impart strength to the glutes and quads. We normally sit in weird positions which put pressure on these muscles causing back pain or sciatica pain. Hence doing the chair yoga pose will help to make these muscles strong and firm

2) Adhomukhshvanasana : The Downward Facing Dog Pose is excellent to take off weight from the shoulders and works wonders for stiff back caused due to incorrect posture

3) Ananada balansana: The Happy Baby Yoga Pose is an amazing hip opener; long day at work can cause clogging of creativity and most times makes you feel low hence the happy baby pose of yoga will help to relieve stress clogged and let the creativity flow

4) Uttanpadasana : Legs Up is a boon for those who sit and work for long hours. Hanging legs cause vericose veins and pain in legs hence this yoga pose helps to reduce them.

Yoga for working professionals need to be special and to be done daily.
