I'm very happy with my progress. So far, building this new bicycle frame is running along smoothly (yeah, I know...).
Anyhow, after building part of the joint that holds seat stays and top tube to the seat post, today I attached the head tube, just temporarily, to the down tube.
The bike is on the floor and is tilted backwards (13 degrees exactly). So I set the protractor at 55 degrees for the head tube to be at 68 degrees when the bicycle is horizontal.
Once this temporary joint of the head tube is set, I will measure to verify that it set correctly (correct angle and in line with the seat and down tubes). Then, I will apply linen and epoxy to make the joint firm enough for me to attach the top tube.
