Chaturangaaaaa if you hate it you're not doing it right. Kidding, it's hard. BUT the most helpful tip I ever got re this is to think of it as a LEG pose and not upper body. BOOM.
So much easier. We focus too much on the arms we forget to press back with the heels and engage the legs. It's amazing how much you can pull your weight towards your toes, even in a one legged variation.
