The kinds of clients you reallllly want to work with aren’t choosing their next mentor because they posted “3 tips to blah blah” content and i can say that with 111% certainty.

The vibe of who you wanna work with: they feel like someone you’d be friends with irl, they don’t get their un**es in a bundle about investing in themselves, they take fast action, they’re excited to do the work with you...amirite?

Your dream client doesn’t wanna save your tips post and leave it in their IG bookmarks graveyard.

They don’t wanna waste time DIYing s**t like they’re trying to put together a puzzle with pieces from 7 different puzzles.

They’re ready for someone to work closely with them to help them implement and get results faster.

You know this person because you are also this person - so why are you creating content for the bookmarker instead of the action taker???

That tips s**t isn’t telling your dream client anything about your support style, unique perspective, or vibe and energy.

*That* is what moves them to buy from you - not the stuff that looks like what every other person in your niche is posting to go viral.

Yes they need to see your strategy, but that’s not going to put them over the edge. They wanna see:

* Your story
* Your values
* Your unique method/approach for getting them results
* Your personality because they wanna be mentored by someone they vibe with
* Your energy and vibe

Your people need to FEEL you.

No copywriting or marketing strategy can save you if you’re thinking unmagnetic thoughts.

Some thoughts repel and others attract, and your audience will feel the ones you’re thinking in your content.

Thoughts create feelings, which create actions, which create results.

If you’re thinking sh*tty thoughts, you’ll feel like trash and it will bleed into the way you choose to express yourself even if you’ve read every marketing book on Earth.

Thoughts that repel your dream clients (non-exhaustive list)

• I don’t have anything unique to say

• No one is buying right now

• *Compares offer to so-and-so, decides so-and-so’s is better*

• No one is watching, what does it matter anyway

• I’m not qualified enough until I do blah blah blah

• Who am I to ____?

Thoughts that attract your dream clients (non-exhaustive list)

• I have a unique + valuable perspective to add to the conversation

• People are always watching so I always show up for them

• There are people out there who’ve been searching for the exact support I can provide, I can’t wait to reach them

• My personality + life experience gives me something no one else can replicate and my people will resonate with me for that exact reason

Some of these thoughts will have you creating potent af, magnetic words because you’ll be radiating CONVICTION.

The others will have making watered-down, weakened, apologetic-ass content which is rude to your talent, passion, commitment to your craft and cute af personality.

Clean that sh*t up and audit your thoughts before you even touch your copy (and I say this as someone who gets paid to help you with your copy, not your thoughts, soooo).

People unfollow me on the daily and it low-key sends shivers down my spine (the good kind hehe)

It ALSO hurts my feelings sometimes because I’m a human and all humans have a deep desire to be loved and accepted.

But I will always value the opportunity to be loved and hated for who I am instead of loved and hated for someone I’m not.

And I know that to be truly “magnetic” to the right people, I have to repel as strongly as I attract.

So I know when people unfollow me, I’m pushing away people who are wrong for me and attracting more people who are *my* people.

That’s why I intentionally post content I know might be “controversial“ but is important to me and part of my value system.

Because I want people who don’t resonate to respectfully get tf off my page and the people who do to feel closer to me.

The less afraid you are to repel, the more aligned your community will feel and the more they’ll connect with you and your offers.

The more you try to please your audience and get them to like you, the more you’ll attract people who are unsure about you or drain you.

When people are choosing you for who you are and what you stand for and not just your expertise, *that’s* when your audience wants every offer you create, when you consistently attract clients who feel “soul-aligned”, and when people DM me “omg I’m so ready let’s do this and pay immediately.

If you want those things, you MUST intentionally share:

* Your values
* Your unique perspectives and opinions
* What you do and DON’T stand for
* Your actual personality and vibe

And not just your expertise.

If you want to communicate what you do in a way that draws in the right people, pushes away the wrong ones, and feels light and simple instead of I’m-doing-it-because-a-marketing-guru-told-me-to-y, my work is for you.

Selling one-off sessions isn’t going to scale your online wellness business…

And neither is selling a package of 1:1 sessions.

I get it…they don’t teach you much about building a business in coaching programs.

Think about it like this. If you’re charging $250/hour, you have to sell 20 1:1 sessions a month to make $5k months, and going beyond that based just off 1:1 sessions is a recipe for burnout.

The most efficient way to scale to $5k months as a wellness expert is to create a long-term, high ticket coaching offer you can sell for 4 figures.

When you package your expertise into a long term offer with a clear transformation that solves your perfect fit client’s problem, you only have to enroll a few clients a month to start hitting $5-10k months.

(E.g. If you’re selling a 3 month package for $2500, that’s only 2 clients a month to hit a $5k month).

The key to selling these long-term, high ticket packages with ease is speaking to the transformation and outcome you’re offering to your ideal client in that time frame.

You’re not selling “10 health coaching sessions”, you’re selling an outcome your target client is dying to achieve, so your marketing and messaging needs to communicate that outcome.

Do you need a better ‘content strategy’ or do you need to stop being a Good Little Girl in your marketing? (This doesn’t only apply to women btw and my account/working with me is a safe space for all)

Let’s discuss.

Of course you need to understand certain principles of messaging, copywriting, and online marketing to communicate online.

That’s why I teach them. But usually that’s like 10% of the reason most people’s messaging falls flat.

The other 90% is bc you’re thinking sh*t like this:
• Will this make so-and-so / people judge me?
• How do I explain this to people who are skeptical?
• But will my audience ‘get it’?
• What do I need to change to get more likes/plays/get on the Explore Page?
• Is this too bitchy/too spiritual/too something else (or not enough something)?
• Is it as good as ’s content?
• If I don’t get likes/plays/comments, that means I’m doing something wrong and my content isn’t “working” so I might as well stop

You’re more worried about being a good girl that makes everyone happy than you are about saying what needs to be said.

This waters down your content because you’re twisting your message into what you think people will like instead of what you know needs to be said, AND you’re not saying what your target clients really need to hear because you’re more worried about them liking you than actually leading them.

You need to BOTH understand how to craft a powerful narrative AND get tf our of your own way with your audience-pleasing behavior.

Some people are not going to like it. Some people will think you’re annoying. Some people will be like “does she think she’s an influencer now? So tacky.”

Guess what, those aren’t your people. Let them think what they want to think while you attract the right people for you by giving fewer f*cks and being a Baddie instead of a Good Girl.

I just don’t have the time, energy or interest in being anyone other than myself, even if that means being disliked or “rejected” by potential clients, friends, partners, whoever.

Changing yourself - even in subtle ways - to please others is like making yourself a depolarized magnet. The kind that falls off the fridge🥴

Powerful magnets attract powerfully AND repel powerfully. You can’t have one without the other bb🧲
