This is where it all started for me for the very first time, 36 years ago.
At this tennis club, I began playing tennis at 7 years old — spending the first 4 months practicing only against the wall, and only after I managed to master the basic strokes I was allowed enter the tennis court for the first time with other kids.
That feeling of stepping into the court is something I will never forget.
Today, as a competitive coach for so many years who has experienced incredible events in my professional life, it’s amazing to come back after all these years and see where it all began for me.
It’s wonderful to experience this and share it with my players who are here competing in an international tournament .
