I was so stuck and overwhelmed this past week, I wanted to run away and hide but didn’t know how? And where? And also why would I? So instead I took a step back and wiggled in the unknown… and while I wiggled ( Ilan call it trampulating- I am pretty sure it’s invented word but somehow accurately describes this movement) anyhow… I was thinking about how our bodies are incredibly complex and intricate machines that are designed to move in a variety of ways. However, we often fall into the trap of repeating the same movements day after day, which can lead to physical and mental stagnation.
So basically by changing the patterns of how we move our bodies on a daily basis, we can open ourselves up to a whole new range of possibilities. Our bodies are intelligent and intuitive, and by listening to them and letting them guide us into the movements they need, we can discover new ways of moving and being in the world.
Embracing the freedom of movement means letting go of preconceived notions about what our bodies should look like or how they should move. It means allowing ourselves to be curious and playful, and to explore the full range of motion and expression that our bodies are capable of.
This journey of discovery is not just about physical movement, but about building a lifelong friendship with ourselves. Our bodies are not just our servants; they are our partners in life, and by cultivating a deeper connection with them, we can tap into a wellspring of joy, creativity, and vitality.
