🙏🏻🫶🏻International Woman’s Day.

Ladies we are living in a world where women can do so much and are so free, compared to history…

However - there are still many countries in which the inequality runs extremely deep and is prevalent, such as:
Democratic Republic of Congo
South Sudan
Afghanistan
Chad
Yemen
Iraq

Currently I’m deeply concerned for the women in Israel and also several aspects in the US are very disturbing to me. This year, unfortunately, I find the importance of women’s day greater than previously in my life as I witness the government in Israel release any Democratic values and are actively seeking to change the law which, in turn, will lead to turning women into second class citizens - which was NEVER the case since 1948, the founding year! Hard to believe that we’re actually going back in time.

Let me rephrase, we have to fight for us, for our daughters, for our sisters. We have a long long way to go, it’s getting longer where I am, sadly… And as for the rest of the world- there are places where the women are left behind and their lives, wellbeing and health are profoundly compromised. Mental health is essential for our overall well-being, and exercise, according to research, benefits our mental health… HUGELY. Physical activity has been shown to reduce anxiety and depression, as well as improve mood, cognitive function AND self-esteem!

Studies have shown that exercise triggers the release of endorphins. Endorphins are neurotransmitters that produce happy feelings. Exercise also increases the production of serotonin and norepinephrine.
Serotonin and Norepinephrine can help alleviate symptoms of depression and anxiety. These are the physiological effects… there’s more though.

Exercise can also provide that sense of accomplishment we love and boost our self-confidence. Setting, and then achieving, exercise goals can provide a sense of PURPOSE and MOTIVATION - crucial for our mental health.

Today marks a year since I started doing my Mindfulness Strength Flow Workshops OFFLINE. These workshops have been an overwhelming experience for me, I think perhaps today’s workshop topped them all.
The energy in the room, the raw emotion, the presence, the movement and the stillness surprised me each and every time.

I’m so grateful for being able to do this, it’s such a deep honor to serve in this way.

Deeply grateful to the participants who take the whole experience to a higher and higher level each and every time.

PS I still hold workshops online and in person for private groups and for corporate and they’re always powerful ❤️
