Recently two delegations headed by Sedot Neve Agriculture Training Center's representatives visited Nepal 🇳🇵 and Cambodia 🇰🇭 as part of the recruitment process and interviewing candidates for the 2023-2024 batch.
Dr. Nehoray Elyakim, the Head of the professional department unit at Hemdat College, visited together with H.E. Mr. Hannan Goder, the Israeli 🇮🇱 ambassador to Nepal, and our former Nepali group leader Mr. Ishwar Kanel at Far Western University (FWU), Nepal. They met the management board of the university and interviewed the candidates. At the university, they had an exciting meeting with Mr. Pradeshi Thatu, a graduate student in the 2019/20 batch. Pradeshi got a life-saving treatment when he was in Israel. Thankfully, he is doing well in his life today.
On the way, they visited the goats farm of Mr. Prem Lamichhane who joined the program in the 2019-20 batch, and saw how our graduates implemented the knowledge they gained in their life.
When they returned to Kathmandu Dr. Nehoray gave a lecture on 'Pedagogical Resilience' at Kathmandu University School of Management as part of the Israeli embassy activity.
In Cambodia, Mr. Shlomo Nezer, SNAC program manager, visited Prek Leap National Institute of Agriculture in Phnom Phen and interviewed over 100 candidates, and met the president of PNIA, Dr. Vathana Thun, they discussed the next possibilities for collaboration in the agriculture and education fields.
Later, Shlomo visited National Mean Chey University in Banteay Meanchey Province. A signing MoU ceremony was held in attendance of the management board of NMCU headed by Dr. Khorn Sok.
