What a graduation we had yesterday!
The graduation ceremony was a vibrant and enchanting affair, made even more memorable by the mesmerizing traditional dances performed by the talented interns. Each dance represented the rich cultural heritage of the interns' diverse backgrounds, and the atmosphere was electric with anticipation and admiration. Graceful twirls and elegant gestures transported the audience to distant lands, immersing them in the beauty of ancient traditions. The heartfelt applause and standing ovations that followed were a testament to the incredible dedication and hard work these interns had put into perfecting their performances, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of everyone present.

Thanks to all the people who took part in the graduation; Mrs. Tamar Yarden the Head of Internship in Agriculture Administration, MASHAV.
Mr. Arjun Ghimire first secretary, Nepal embassy in Israel.
Teachers, dancers, farmers, and of course the SNAC students.
Special thanks to the group leaders Mr. Ti Ri and Ms. Bhandari who encouraged and managed their students.

Recently two delegations headed by Sedot Neve Agriculture Training Center's representatives visited Nepal 🇳🇵 and Cambodia 🇰🇭 as part of the recruitment process and interviewing candidates for the 2023-2024 batch.

Dr. Nehoray Elyakim, the Head of the professional department unit at Hemdat College, visited together with H.E. Mr. Hannan Goder, the Israeli 🇮🇱 ambassador to Nepal, and our former Nepali group leader Mr. Ishwar Kanel at Far Western University (FWU), Nepal. They met the management board of the university and interviewed the candidates. At the university, they had an exciting meeting with Mr. Pradeshi Thatu, a graduate student in the 2019/20 batch. Pradeshi got a life-saving treatment when he was in Israel. Thankfully, he is doing well in his life today.
On the way, they visited the goats farm of Mr. Prem Lamichhane who joined the program in the 2019-20 batch, and saw how our graduates implemented the knowledge they gained in their life.
When they returned to Kathmandu Dr. Nehoray gave a lecture on 'Pedagogical Resilience' at Kathmandu University School of Management as part of the Israeli embassy activity.

In Cambodia, Mr. Shlomo Nezer, SNAC program manager, visited Prek Leap National Institute of Agriculture in Phnom Phen and interviewed over 100 candidates, and met the president of PNIA, Dr. Vathana Thun, they discussed the next possibilities for collaboration in the agriculture and education fields.
Later, Shlomo visited National Mean Chey University in Banteay Meanchey Province. A signing MoU ceremony was held in attendance of the management board of NMCU headed by Dr. Khorn Sok.

During that time our group leaders helped and presented the program from their eyes toward the candidates too. Thanks to Mr. Sok Nov (2018/19 batch) Mr. Chor Kimashalen (2019/2021 batch), and Mr. Billget Phat (2021/2022 batch). You always be a part of the SNAC family. Thank you!

Yesterday our trainees had a professional tour. As part of the tour they visited the nursery at the KKL-JNF compound at Gilat and got a lesson about seedlings, growing trees methods, and how Israel faced desertification by turning the barren desert into useful and arable land.
In addition, they visited a goats farm at Kfar Maymon and listened to a review on goat farming aspects, luckily we saw some births too.
Last, they visited Eshkol R&D and got a lecture on the importance and meaning of the R&D center and how it can be helpful for agriculture in general and for the local farmers in particular. Also, they saw and were impressed by the experiments there.

Thanks to the lecturer and the hoster for this tour.

Last week our students had a professional tour as part of their courses to the citrus orchard and water reclamation site as part of their studies. They learned how Israel state reused nearly 90 percent of its wastewater is recycled. That’s around four times higher than any other country in the world. It is a remarkable achievement and this benefits not only Israel. Israeli companies are helping save water around the world, from Africa to California to India.

On Tuesday we had the honour to host at our center the Israeli ambassador to Nepal, H.E Mr. Hannan Goder and the Nepali ambassador to Israel H.E Ms. Kanta Rizal.
Earlier this week, we hosted a delegation of the management board members from nationals universities and colleges for agriculture in Cambodia.

As part of those visits we visited the workplace of the students and met with the farmers too.

Hopefully, our collaborations will be productive for the people and agriculture in Israel, Nepal, Cambodia and last but not least... our dear students.
