16 MySwimEdge 50m tests in just 1 hour and 15 minutes.

This is how one coach integrates MySwimEdge into an open water camp—turning every session into a source of real, actionable insights.

Testing is not just about identifying technique issues. It’s about validating them, tracking progress, and building truly personalized, measurable training programs for each swimmer.

This is what makes modern swim camps stand out: data, clarity, and results.

Arms. Body position. Most people focus on these.
Hip rotation timing?
Almost nobody — because, until recently, you couldn't measure it.

Here's what it actually looks like when hips rotate at the wrong moment:
→ Too early: drag, not propulsion.
→ Too late: the arm works without hip support. More effort, less efficiency.
The difference between these two errors is often less than 0.1 seconds. Invisible on video. Completely visible on a velocity curve.
MySwimEdge AI syncs video with stroke-by-stroke velocity data. Change the timing. Swim again. Compare every stroke.
The optimal timing exists. It's different for every swimmer. Now you can find it — with data.

It's cool when coaches take MySwimEdge's detailed AI biomechanical analysis and turn it into a tailored report for their swimmers — Double AI in action.
MySwimEdge AI delivers focused biomechanical insights: key priority improvement areas plus targeted drills to add to your training. The coach then applies their own "Coach's AI" — refining recommendations, adding brand voice, and formatting the report for athlete-ready delivery.
The key topic of this test is different efficiency of left and right arm strokes and different consistency of the technique.

Double AI: how coaches AI + product AI work together

MySwimEdge AI identifies specific technique issues, sets improvement priorities, and recommends exercises.

A US Triathlon coach then applies his own “coaches AI” layer—adjusting recommendations, adding context, and formatting the report to match his coaching style. The result: data-driven insights plus expert tailoring for practical guidance.

This is from just one 25 yard test.

It's great to get a review from a coach who actually uses multiple swim technologies. He compares the MySwimEdge sensor—which focuses on intra‑cycle body‑velocity analysis—with EO Lab paddles, which measure palm power each stroke.

He has purchased both devices, so his assessment is independent of commercial influence.

Amateur swimmer — velocity curve analysis.
In this test, the swimmer breathes to the right every 4th stroke.
Notice the pattern:
Strokes with breathing produce a smaller increase in velocity compared to non-breathing strokes.
What are the reasons?
One key reason is over-rotation during breathing, which increases drag and disrupts forward momentum.
This is exactly where data makes the difference — it helps you see what you can’t feel.

This is how coaches analyze the efficiency of the left and right arm strokes using MySwimEdge.

* Durchschnittliche Zeit pro Zug: 1.09 s vs. 1.01 s

* Max Speed: 1.75 m/s vs. 1.64 m/s

* DPS: 1.61 m vs. 1.44 m

Every coach sees the data differently, the most important that the data is insightful even for the coaches with a lot of experience.
And it is great when the coaches start using MySwimEdge with the analysis of their own technique.
