*RTB Florida Day 3 Recap* 🎥

Today’s middah focus was Kas (controlling anger), proudly sponsored by Neve Amim.

Today was our best day yet! We started the morning with excellent training led by Coach Baritz, focusing on offensive efficiency and making smart decisions with the basketball. The boys then received their RTB camp shirts before competing in an exciting 3-on-3 tournament.

The energy, effort, and sportsmanship throughout the day were outstanding. The tournament will continue tomorrow as we crown our champions and finish what has been a fantastic competition.

We also have a very special day planned for tomorrow, and we can’t wait for another amazing day of basketball, Torah, and fun!

Yesterday, we received the heartbreaking news of the passing of Rabbi Jonathan Cohen, affectionately known to so many as Joco.

For years, Joco was one of the biggest supporters of RTB. He believed deeply in our mission, loved what we were building, and was always there with encouragement, support, and a smile. He proudly wore RTB gear everywhere he went and genuinely celebrated every milestone and success along the way.

I was fortunate to have a very special relationship with him, and I will forever be grateful for the time we spent together and the impact he had on my life.

In his memory, RTB 2026 is dedicated to Rabbi Jonathan Cohen. Every drill, every game, every shmooze, and every moment of growth this summer should serve as a zechut for his neshama.

May his memory continue to inspire all of us.

🏀 RTB Florida – Day 2 🏀

Another incredible day at RTB Florida!

Today’s middah focus was Anavah (Humility). The day began with skill development sessions focused on offense with limited dribbles and defensive fundamentals, helping our campers continue to grow both on and off the court.

After a delicious lunch from Bagel Boss, the boys competed in another exciting afternoon of league play filled with energy, effort, and teamwork.

Day 2 is in the books, and we’re excited for everything still to come this week!

This video is dedicated in memory of Yehonatan Eitan ben Bat Sheva Bracha, who passed away earlier today. May his neshama have a tremendous aliyah.

🏀 RTB Florida Day 1 Recap 🏀

What an incredible first day of the 2nd Annual RTB Florida Camp!

We kicked off the week with orientation, our Day 1 middah focus of Zerizut (hustle and diligence), and high-energy skill development workouts throughout the morning. After a delicious lunch from Joe’s Pizza, the campers hit the courts for the first league games of the week and brought tremendous effort, competitiveness, and enthusiasm.

Day 1 is always about learning, growing, and setting the tone for an amazing week ahead—and our campers did exactly that.

We’re just getting started. Day 2, here we come! 💪🏀

From RTB Teaneck in 2024 to the NBA Finals in 2026. 🙌🏀

We’re incredibly proud of Dylan Harper and everything he has accomplished. Many of our campers remember Dylan spending time with us at RTB, sharing his experiences, answering questions, and inspiring the next generation of players.

Now, as he represents the San Antonio Spurs on basketball’s biggest stage, the entire RTB family is cheering him on.

RTB Founder Avi Proctor recently wrote an article for the Jewish Link reflecting on Dylan’s time at camp and what it means to watch his journey continue at the highest level of basketball.

As the NBA Finals tip off tonight, it’s only right to throw it back to when Dylan Harper and his trainer, Kenny Miller, stopped by RTB in 2024.

In this clip, they share what makes RTB such a special experience for young athletes and why they believe every player can benefit from being part of it.

Back in 2024, we asked Dylan Harper which NBA player he’d most want to put on a poster.

His answer?

“Wemby.”

Fast forward to today, and Dylan is headed to the NBA Finals alongside Victor Wembanyama as teammates.

Funny how life works.
