As the NBA Finals tip off tonight, it’s only right to throw it back to when Dylan Harper and his trainer, Kenny Miller, stopped by RTB in 2024.

In this clip, they share what makes RTB such a special experience for young athletes and why they believe every player can benefit from being part of it.

It was an absolute privilege to have Dylan with us, and it’s been amazing watching his journey continue on the biggest stage in basketball. Wishing him nothing but success throughout the Finals and beyond. 👏🏀

Back in 2024, we asked Dylan Harper which NBA player he’d most want to put on a poster.

His answer?

“Wemby.”

Fast forward to today, and Dylan is headed to the NBA Finals alongside Victor Wembanyama as teammates.

Funny how life works.

A special RTB throwback from before either of them knew what the next two years would hold. 🏀🔥

Bad games happen. To everyone. Even the best. 🏀

What matters is what you do with it.

You might not be the best player out there tonight. Shots aren’t falling, nothing feels right. But look around you, there are teammates who are fighting just as hard, wanting the win just as much, going through their own struggles the same way you are.

You are not in this alone.

So when it’s not going your way, don’t shut down. Don’t check out. Stay locked in, trust your team, and remember, just because this moment isn’t yours doesn’t mean the next one won’t be.

Throwback post with Coach Kenny

You don’t need God-given talent to win. Talent gets attention. Intelligence wins games. If you can’t go between the legs like the most gifted guy on the court, find a way to beat him anyway. Through teamwork. Through smart passes. Through reading the game faster than everyone else. The park, the driveway, pickup runs, every rep you put in translates. Apply it. Make the game simple. Stop overthinking.

THROWBACK RTB POST 🎥⏪

This clip was from a Q&A we had a few summers ago with Dylan Harper right after graduating high school and before heading off to Rutgers University.

At the time, none of us knew exactly where basketball would take Dylan, but you could already see the work ethic, humility, and character that pointed toward a really bright future. It was an incredible opportunity for our high school boys to hear from someone who was chasing big goals while staying grounded at the same time.

One of the things we constantly try to build at RTB is the combination of high-level basketball together with Torah values and mentorship. We want our boys to be around great athletes, but more importantly great people — whether from the professional basketball world or the Jewish world — and create an environment where those worlds come together.

Having Dylan at camp was truly a pleasure. Super humble, easy to talk to, and somebody our boys loved being around. We’re grateful he took the time to spend with our campers and we’re excited to continue rooting for him on his journey. 🏀

THROWBACK RTB POST 🎥⏪

A throwback to when Dominique Barlow came through RTB a couple summers ago and absolutely put on a show for our boys. The dunks in this clip were unreal… he had the rim looking like a Nerf hoop. 🏀🔥

More than anything, it was such a pleasure having Dom around camp and seeing the way he interacted with everybody. Watching his growth over the past few years and seeing him continue to build his career in the NBA with the Philadelphia 76ers has been really special to watch from the sidelines.

All of us at RTB are rooting for Dom and excited to continue following his journey. Appreciate you coming through and creating memories our campers still talk about today.
